Navigraph FMS Data Manager is a client software which allows you to effortlessly download and install FMS Data for your flight simulation addons and tools. Special attention has been put towards making the software easy to operate. Another way, which is what I went with, was to install the Navigraph Data Manager, which is an application. Navigraph Charts Cloud and Charts Desktop. New Platform to Install OEM. Navigraph has allowed a virtual pilot access to information that otherwise. Navigraph has informed me there is a bug in their.
Hello All, Having recently returned to fs after too many years absent, I have noticed EFB and want to get it working on my setup. In order to test it, I just want to set it up on a single computer, so I'm not doing anything fancy. Sadly, it's not as starightforward as I expected My first real question; is it necessary to have a subscription to Navigraph or AeroSoft nav data? I'm sure I read that EFB comes with an old cycle that can be used, but I can't find the folder structure referred within the install manual -Top Level -SIDSTARS -NavData Second question is regarding the data path to Active Sky weather. I'm using Active Sky for P3dv4. What exactly am I looking for? I am running P3d Version 4 on Windows 10 pro.
Looks like a great product. Can't wait to give it a go! Hi Tom, the installer contains a free (old) cycle for Aerosoft NavDataPro and one for Navigraph FMS Data. Please have a look at the installation and configuration manual, section 1, page 9. There you see 'step 3' where you can select whether you want to install these free cycles. If you were a subscriber to either NavDataPro or FMS Data, you obviously won't need these cycles to be installed. The free cycles will be installed into 'C: Users username Documents AivlaSoft EFB NavData.'
As far as I know Active Sky is still creating a file called ' currentwxsnapshot.txt' but I don't know the folder. Search for this file and then copy/paste the path into the corresponding text box. Gents, So I managed to complete the first run of the Data Provider (I think). But now when I try to start it I get the error as attached, sometimes. Other times it just crashes out with the helpful Windows message saying that the 'Electronic Flight Bag - DataProvider has stopped working.
A problem casued the program to stop working. And the single option to 'Close Program'. I am still logged on using an account that is a member of local admins.
I am not loading admins tokens by 'running as' an administator. Please advise. Hello Urs, OK. I did notice that the files are getting placed a little badly. I did find on this forum a link to a different installer that did move some of the files to a user specified area.
Sadly not all of them though. This is not unworkable for me and I have got EFB running OK in a simple network config (without admin credentials).
I do have to pause Dropbox while I start things up but once EFB is running on both computers, it seems I can restart Dropbox replication. I haven't had an awful lot of time to test fully though and am now flying out on business for a couple of weeks. Looks like a great product though. So keep up the good work! Kind regards Tom.

Hey there, I noticed that I often can't find several approaches for destination airports in the FMGC database when selecting my approach. Using the A330 of the widebody x-treme prologue (0.85.2) all the time, I am updating the FMS data regularly with the newest AIRAC from Navigraph, by using their FMS data manager. As a subscriber of a Navigraph Ultimate plan, I have also access to the Navigraph charts and can therefore take a look which overall collection of approaches should be available for a specific airport in the FMS database. Now it happens that even if a multitude of RNAV-, VOR- and other approaches are documented in these charts, I often can only find some ILS- and several visual approaches in the FMGC.

My first suspicion was that Navigraph failed to compile their data but I could find all the other approaches in the FMS of the Airbusses of another developer, which I also update with Navigraph. So there are 3 possible situations here: - Navigraph packages distributed for Blackbox Airbusses are faulty - Blackbox and Navigraph have unintentionally developed some incompatibilty between the format Navigraph is bundling their data for Blackbox and the format Blackbox Airbusses are expecting the data being compiled by Navigraph. The problem may be completely on my end by unintentionally breaking something in my installation. After updating the AIRAC using the FMS Data manager provided by Navigraph, I didn't ever touch the files manually. I am also not using other FMS Data or from other providers. Checking the MCDUDataA/C Status, the correct current AIRAC1701 is displayed.
I have put an inquiry on that issue in the Navigraph support forum We should certainly have some other Navigraph users around here, if you are one of these, please check if your FMGC in the A330 offers you any VOR approach for TNCM (Sint Maarten) or any of the RNAV approaches of KLAS, KSFO or KLAX. I am not 100% sure but I think I did a RNAV approach on KSFO in December, so this might as well be an issue with the AIRAC1701 only. The 1701 will be invalid coming Thursday.
